The Garden Spot of the Sunshine State

The Garden Spot is a landscape design and plant nursery run by owner and landscape consultant Anita Adams. Homeowners come to her for landscape plans, planting guidance and privacy hedges, and the nursery sells a changing selection of plants from growers the business knows and trusts. The business also handles plant sourcing, replacement planting and coordination for HOAs, property managers and commercial facilities.

Consultations are by appointment, and an on-site visit to walk the property costs $50, with a $25 credit toward plant purchases of $100 or more. Plant shopping is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, but customers are asked to call ahead. The business serves Ocala, Marion County and nearby North Central Florida communities, including Stone Creek, On Top of the World and Bellechase.
