K-9 Specialists

K-9 Specialists is a family-owned business that imports and breeds German Shepherd Dogs and European Doberman Pinschers, and sells both puppies and fully trained adult dogs. Its trainers run board and train programs, training camps and behavior work for dogs of all breeds, drawing on backgrounds in competitive sport, personal protection and therapy work.

The team focuses on complex behavioral needs such as aggression, fear and anxiety, and builds each training plan around the goals of the owner and dog. Most training takes place at the Ocala facility, and trainers also visit clients in Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami and Tampa. Visits are by appointment only, and a Macon, Georgia office is also listed.
