Master S.H. Yu Martial Arts teaches Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Aikido and Judo as one combined curriculum, with a separate Saturday Kumdo and Gumdo sword class. Students train by age and experience level, and the school offers kids, teen and adult classes, 12-week beginner programs, private lessons and summer camps, including a ninja camp.
Classes are organized by level, so beginners and advanced students each train with their peers. New visitors can watch a class for free without an appointment, and Spanish is spoken at the school. The Oak Park school is at 6701 W North Ave, and the program also serves students from River Forest, Elmwood Park, Forest Park and Riverside.
