Donovan's

Donovan's is a long-running pub in South Norwalk, known for its half-pound Famous Hamburger and Patti's New England clam chowder, which has won the Chowdafest competition. The menu also covers wings, sliders, salads, sandwiches, pub fare like fish and chips and baby back ribs, and a summer seafood menu with lobster rolls and soft-shell crab.

The kitchen runs a weekday happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, and seasonal menus appear for Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's Day. Orders can be placed online for pickup. There is a kids menu, and the pub sits just around the corner from the Maritime Aquarium, so it works well for families as well as groups catching a game on the many HDTVs.
