Red's Garden Center

Red's Garden Center is a family-owned garden center and landscaping business that has served the North Shore since 1968. The nursery stocks a wide range of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, roses, groundcovers and houseplants, and it grows much of its stock in fourteen greenhouses. Seasonal gift and decor items, holiday décor and a steady supply of seasoned firewood round out the lineup.

Landscape design is a major part of the work, from a few plants for a refresh to full residential and commercial plans, and customers can book a consultation by phone or through the website contact form. Firewood is sold by the bundle up to multiple cords, available for pickup year-round or delivered to most nearby suburbs with scheduling by phone. The store is at 3460 Dundee Road in Northbrook, open Monday through Saturday with shorter Sunday hours.
