Tougas Family Farm is a pick-your-own fruit farm in Northborough, known for its strawberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, nectarines, apples and pumpkins. The farm grows more than 30 apple varieties on over 40,000 trees, and its cider donuts, made with the farm's own apple cider, are a signature treat.
Fruit season runs from late spring through early November, with pick-your-own fields generally open Tuesday through Sunday. The farm store and kitchen serve sandwiches and drinks, a beer garden opens on select weekends, and there is a farm-themed playground, barnyard animals and a pumpkin patch. Parking is free and the farm is about 45 minutes west of Boston. Call ahead or check current picking conditions, since field closures can happen with little notice.
