Star Nursery Garden and Rock Centers

Star Nursery is a privately owned garden center and decorative rock yard that has been operating for about 40 years. It stocks trees, shrubbery, drought-tolerant plants, succulents and houseplants, along with irrigation supplies, yard tools, pottery and its own Dr. Q's Garden Products soils and fertilizers formulated for Southwest gardens. Hardscape materials such as flagstone, pavers, decorative rock and bulk soils are also available, and the company serves both residential and commercial customers.

The main Las Vegas-area nursery and rock yard is at Ann Road and Simmons in North Las Vegas, with other locations across Southern Nevada, Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. Several Las Vegas-area stores have separate rock yard phone lines, and the rock yards keep slightly shorter hours than the nurseries. Hours vary by location and the Sunday schedules are shorter.
