Nevada Rise Academy

Nevada Rise Academy is a public charter school in Las Vegas that aims to give its students an excellent education and close the opportunity gap in the city. Its lead founder, Justin Brecht, completed the Building Excellent Schools Fellowship, studying the practices of high-performing charter schools and bringing them to the school. Before starting Nevada Rise, he founded the BRICK Academy program as a teacher in Clark County, and his work has earned several education honors. The school also runs the NV College Kickstart Program.

Families can count on before and after school programs and breakfast and lunch on campus. The school sits on East Owens Avenue in Las Vegas, and its leadership board and partners are listed on its site for parents who want to learn more about how the school is run.
