Sentar

Sentar is a cyber intelligence company that combines cybersecurity, intelligence and analytics, and systems and software engineering. Its work centers on protecting data and critical infrastructure, managing cyber risk, finding and fixing vulnerabilities, and building secure integrated systems. Much of the work supports Department of Defense programs and Intelligence Community agencies, along with some commercial clients, and the firm has a long history of analytics work using artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Sentar is an employee-owned company founded in 1990 and headquartered in North Charleston. Customers typically work with the firm through government contracts rather than walk-in visits, and open positions are posted on its careers pages. The company has been named one of South Carolina's Best Places to Work for 11 consecutive years.
