Chef 21

Chef 21 is an Asian fusion restaurant with a menu built on the owners' travels, drawing on street markets in Bangkok, izakayas in Tokyo and trattorias in Italy. It is known for sushi, nigiri and sashimi with toro and wagyu options, its sushi burgers, Korean BBQ and hot pot tables, and ramen stir fry. The bar pours cocktails, sake and a range of spirits.

The Simpsonville location is on Fairview Road, and the group also runs a downtown Greenville spot and Tea Republic dim sum. Hours run through the week with lunch and dinner service, and weekend nights stay open later. Chef 21 Events offers cooking classes, networking events and private gatherings, so the restaurant also works well for groups.
