About HAYSTACK Events

The story

Haystack is a coffee shop in Norman, run as a ministry affiliated with the OU Baptist Collegiate Ministry. It takes its name from the Haystack Prayer Meeting of 1806, when a group of college students sheltered under a haystack and talked about world missions. The shop serves coffee across the counter, and its seasonal specials change from season to season.

Orders can be placed ahead online for pickup at the counter or for delivery, and the shop sells gift cards that can be checked online. Its location is at 1203 Elm Avenue in Norman, near the University of Oklahoma campus.
