Cure Coffeehouse

Cure Coffeehouse is a coffee shop with locations in Norfolk, Smithfield, Portsmouth, Newport News and Suffolk. It serves Counter Culture Coffee from Durham, North Carolina, and its baristas are trained through Counter Culture's education program. The kitchen makes most of its food from scratch on site, including house-smoked pastrami, jams, Portuguese egg tarts, giant cinnamon rolls and macarons, and weekend brunch is a busy draw.

The cafe also keeps a changing selection of craft beer, wine and seasonal cocktails, with Virginia breweries on tap and in bottles and cans. Cupping and tasting events are held for people who want to learn more about coffee. The Norfolk shop is at 503 Botetourt Street. Cure also offers a mobile coffee bar for weddings, film sets and pop-ups, catering with grazing boards, and venue rental of a table, room or the whole cafe.
