WorkSource Oregon

WorkSource Oregon is a statewide partnership with the Oregon Employment Department and state, local, and nonprofit agencies that helps people find jobs and helps businesses find talent. Job seekers can get help with job searches, workshops on resumes, computer skills and interviewing, and possible support for training. Businesses can get help recruiting specialized and general talent, identifying tax credits, and setting up apprenticeships, internships and training programs, with some training costs covered.

Services are free to job seekers and can be reached online at worksourceoregon.org or in person at one of the statewide centers, where staff can be seen without an appointment. Veterans and eligible spouses receive priority of service. The Newport office is at 120 Northeast Avery Street, and the agency offers interpreter services and materials in other languages.
