NEWNAN SCHOOL OF GYMNASTICS & CHEERLEADING

Newnan School of Gymnastics & Cheerleading offers recreational gymnastics and tumbling for all ages, along with competitive gymnastics teams for boys and girls. Its competitive cheerleading program, the Newnan Southern Stars All-Star team, has won national championships since 2002 and competes from Novice through Elite across Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior and Senior divisions. The school also runs parent and tot classes, cheer basics and summer camps.

Recreational classes are grouped by age and skill, and free trial classes help staff place new students. Classes run on a continuous enrollment system, so families can sign up for an open class at any time. Competitive gymnasts are chosen by invitation only. The front office on Shenandoah Boulevard in Newnan is open afternoons and evenings on weekdays, and parents should watch children closely in the parking lot and lobby.
