Vegan Thyme

Vegan Thyme is a plant-based restaurant serving Thai-style dishes, along with Mexican-inspired plates and vegan burgers. The menu covers curries, noodle dishes, fried rice, tom yum and tom kah soups, papaya and larb salads, and tempura, with soy-based stand-ins for chicken, beef, and shrimp. The founders started the restaurant in 2015 after struggling to find good vegan restaurants of their own, and it grew in popularity during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Orders can be placed online, by phone, or in person, and lunch combinations are served from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The restaurant is in the Park Plaza shopping center on Michael Drive in Newbury Park, and it takes special requests and dietary questions by contact form. Guests with food allergies should tell their server before ordering.
