The HeART Ballroom & Loft is an event space in Newark that hosts weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, birthday parties, cocktail parties, galas, concerts and comedy shows. The main room is a 4,000 square foot ballroom with high ceilings, and the space also includes a stage, a balcony for extra seating, a bar area and a kitchen.
The space is available for private events and can be customized to fit a particular celebration. Bookings can be made online. The ballroom was founded in 2015 by Mayowa "GODSENT" Okubanjo, who first operated it in Montclair before moving it to Bloomfield Avenue in 2019. The owners aim to offer a space that doesn't cost as much as typical banquet halls.
