The cafe was established in 2013 in a pagoda-roofed building that once housed a laundromat, a record store and an incense shop. It became worker-owned in December 2022 through a cooperative transition with Cooperation New Orleans. It is open every day from 7 AM to 2 PM at 1430 North Dorgenois Street, at the corner of Bayou Road and Kerlerec Street.
