OBDS

Off Broadway Dance Studio, also known as OBDS, has taught dance in New Orleans for more than 40 years. The studio offers eight styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theater, pointe and pre-pointe, and combo classes, for dancers from toddlers through teens and advanced students. Company and pre-company programs give more serious dancers regular performance opportunities.

Owners stay closely involved in the studio, from choreography to costume selection, and the instructors hold degrees and bring years of teaching experience. The studio is in the Uptown area at 8125 St. Charles Avenue, and registration for returning families opens in July, with classes starting in mid-September.
