New Orleans Food Coop

New Orleans Food Co-op is a member-owned, full-service grocery store that stocks local produce, Louisiana grass-fed meat, a large bulk section, dry goods, cheeses, in-house prepared foods and natural body care. It is open to the public, not only to members, and says its focus is supporting the health of the community and local food systems.

The store is inside the New Orleans Healing Center on St. Claude Avenue, toward the rear of the building. Shoppers can use the front or rear entrance, and co-op parking is available from Spain Street or North Rampart Street. Members who want to own a share of the store can join through the co-op's website.
