Muffulettas and Pimm's Cups in a historic French Quarter bar500 Chartres Street, New Orleans, LA

Napoleon House is a century-old bar and restaurant in the French Quarter, known for its warm muffuletta sandwich and its Pimm's Cup cocktail. The sandwich is built from cured meats, cheese and tangy olive salad on sesame-crusted Italian bread, with everything made in house. The menu also covers Creole and Cajun dishes such as seafood gumbo, red beans and rice, and jambalaya.
The Impastato family has owned and run the building since 1914, and Ralph Brennan has been a partner since 2015. Reservations are not taken, so walk-ins are the way in. The bar serves lunch and dinner, and the rooms are also used for private parties and receptions. It sits at 500 Chartres Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
