Loretta's Authentic Pralines

Loretta's Authentic Pralines makes classic pralines, sweet potato cookies, gift baskets and other sweet treats in small batches, using recipes passed down through generations. The shop is best known for its Praline Beignets, which come in sweet, crabmeat and burger versions and are fried fresh and served hot.

Orders for pralines, cookies, gift baskets and treats can be placed online. The business has two New Orleans locations: a stall at the French Market and a cafe on North Rampart Street. The beignets are sold only at those two spots, and the cafe is open weekdays and Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday.
