Caliche and Pao Gallery shows original oil paintings by the married artist couple Caliche and Pao, who paint French Quarter scenes in a bright, textured style often grouped with New Orleans impressionism. Their work focuses on lampposts, jazz musicians, historic architecture, flowers and the street life of the Quarter.
The gallery is at 307 Royal Street in the French Quarter, and it also runs a sister gallery, Lozano & Barbuti Gallery. Visitors can browse the originals in person, and the gallery also offers paper prints and online sales. Hours are listed on the page, with later hours on Friday and Saturday.
