About Cunningham Farm

The story

Cunningham Farm is a wedding venue on a historic 90-plus acre property in New Gloucester, Maine, used mainly for estate, barn and outdoor weddings. The grounds include three event barns, a farmhouse, a pond, a river, a brook, rock walls and a red pine tree farm with a white farm fence. The Dairy Barn is the oldest structure on the land, dating to about 1820.

The venue rents out the whole property for a three-day window, so couples and their guests have exclusive use of the grounds. Weddings are held from late April through mid-November, and a full weekend rental runs Friday through Sunday. The barns hold more than 200 guests, and the property has seven indoor restrooms and an indoor backup site for ceremonies in bad weather. The farm sits just north of Portland and is convenient to Auburn, Brunswick and Freeport.
