New Canaan Foreign Car

New Canaan Foreign Car is a family-run auto repair shop that works on European, domestic and classic cars, and it also sells cars. The business was founded in 1964 by a factory-trained Mercedes-Benz mechanic and now focuses on brake repair, check engine light diagnostics, oil changes and general maintenance. Mark and Lucia Bagg have owned and run the shop since 1992.

Technicians use current diagnostic equipment and a continuously updated database, and they keep up with new car technology through factory training. Every car gets a complete 45-point safety inspection, with fluids topped off, lights checked and tire pressures set, including the spare. The shop is on Pine Street in New Canaan, and one of the owners calls customers after service to check on their satisfaction.
