Westlake Eye Specialists

Westlake Eye Specialists is an eye care practice that offers routine eye exams along with laser cataract surgery and LASIK. Its doctors also treat glaucoma, dry eye, corneal conditions and eye allergies, and the practice offers oculoplastic and cosmetic services such as BOTOX and blepharoplasty. People who want to learn whether they might be a candidate for LASIK or a premium cataract lens can take self-tests on the practice's site before coming in.

The New Braunfels clinic is on East Austin Street and is one of several locations in Central Texas. Appointments can be requested online or by phone. Weekday hours run through the afternoon with shorter hours on Fridays, and the office is closed on weekends. Regular eye exams matter because glaucoma often shows no symptoms until damage has occurred, and the practice encourages patients to schedule them.
