Generations Retina & Eye Center

Generations Retina & Eye Center is an ophthalmology practice focused on retinal diseases, treating conditions such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy with both medical and surgical care. Dr. Hamzah Khalaf, a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retinal surgeon, leads the practice and has been based in Texas since 2016. The practice also offers FDA-approved Valeda light therapy for early to intermediate dry AMD.

The New Braunfels office is at 790 Generations Drive, and the practice has two San Antonio offices as well. Staff speak Spanish, and Dr. Khalaf is fluent in English, Arabic and Spanish. The practice accepts all major insurances, and patients are asked to call to verify coverage and book appointments.
