National Karate Kickboxing & Krav Maga

National Karate and Kickboxing's New Berlin studio, known locally as Wisconsin National Karate, teaches a hybrid martial art that draws on karate, Tae Kwon Do, judo, boxing and Krav Maga rather than a single style. Programs cover adult karate, adult kickboxing, adult Krav Maga and youth martial arts, and the school runs martial arts themed birthday parties where kids can break a board. The organization traces its roots to a first school opened in 1973.

Beginners start at a basic fitness level, and classes average about 12 to 14 students per teacher. Kickboxing is offered in person and virtually, with private lessons and family classes also available. A two-week introductory program lets new students try karate and kickboxing before committing. The New Berlin studio is easy to reach from West Allis, Muskego, Brookfield, Waukesha and nearby communities.
