LSU AgCenter

The LSU AgCenter Natchitoches Parish Office is the local branch of the LSU AgCenter, the research and extension arm of the LSU College of Agriculture. Its staff works with parish residents on agriculture, youth development, and nutrition and community health, including 4-H youth programs. Cotton, pecans, cattle, corn, soybeans, rice, crawfish, and grain sorghum are raised across the parish, and the office serves growers and families there.

The office is at 624 Second Street in the city of Natchitoches, the parish seat known for its December Christmas Festival. Residents can call the office for questions about parish programs, and the office also handles the LSU AgCenter's local extension work, from farm and garden questions to family and community events.
