Art Cats Gallery

Art Cats Gallery is a contemporary craft gallery in Muskegon that carries fine crafts, original paintings, prints, pottery, glass and artist-made jewelry, with work from more than 70 artists. Most pieces are handmade, and the gallery features Michigan artists alongside makers from across the country. Owner Louise Hopson, who has been making one-of-a-kind clay pieces for over 30 years, has her studio next to the shop.

The gallery is at 1845 Lakeshore Drive in the Lakeside District, near the shore of Muskegon Lake. It is open Wednesday through Friday and Saturday, with other hours available by appointment or when the lights are on. Custom orders are accepted, typically taking 30 to 60 days depending on size and complexity. Artists who want to be considered for the shop submit images and pricing through the website.
