Whitinger & Company is a certified public accounting firm that handles accounting, tax, audit and advisory work for businesses, individuals and nonprofits. The firm was founded in 1930 and describes itself as one of Indiana's Top 50 accounting practices. Its services include bookkeeping and payroll, QuickBooks consulting, benefit plan assurance, business valuation, fraud detection and estate planning, along with predominant use studies for Indiana sales and use tax exclusions on manufacturing utilities.

The firm has offices in Muncie and Fishers, and the Muncie office is at 1100 W. White River Blvd. Investment management is handled by Whitinger Financial Advisors, a separate business from the tax and accounting work.
