Mount Vernon Family Dentistry

Mount Vernon Family Dentistry is a general dental practice that takes a whole-body approach to oral health. The dentist explains that the mouth reflects the health of the rest of the body, and uses advanced technology such as digital imaging to show patients what is found during exams. The office is known for being mercury free, meaning no mercury-containing materials are used for fillings, and mercury safe, using a strict protocol when removing old silver fillings.

The practice offers CEREC same-day porcelain crowns and partial crowns, which are completed in one appointment and aim to save as much natural tooth structure as possible. The office is at 311 Virgil Ave in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and patients who want a dentist focused on prevention and overall health can call to ask about visits.
