Hummers Meats

Hummers Meats is a family-owned meat market that has served customers since 1957. It is known for wood smoked and sugar cured hams, hand trimmed bacon, and stuffed pork chops cut from locally raised hogs. The counter also carries fresh beef cut from USDA choice and select western beef, ground several times a day, along with fresh poultry such as chicken, turkeys, ducks and capons, and homemade sausage.

The shop runs three locations and sells fried chicken made with its own breading. Orders must be called in to the store phone, since email is only for questions. Hummers Meats is at 408 East Main Street in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, and also ships orders to customers who can't come in.
