Companion Animal hospital

Companion Animal Hospital is a veterinary practice in Mount Joy that has been caring for pets since 1995. It sees mostly dogs and cats, along with a steady number of rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, chickens and pot-bellied pigs. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, full dental care, spay and neuter, soft tissue surgery, x-ray and ultrasound diagnostics, and rehabilitation, water therapy and acupuncture.

Surgeries are routinely performed Monday through Friday, and sick pet and vaccine visits are available on each day the hospital is open. Saturday hours are shorter, and the practice is closed on Sundays. For emergencies after hours, the hospital refers clients to listed local emergency clinics. The building is wheelchair accessible, and dogs should be leashed and cats kept in carriers when visiting.
