Balance Martial Arts

Balance Martial Arts teaches Shorin Ryu Karate to students from age 3 through adulthood, with separate programs for young children, teens and adults. Classes focus on discipline, humility, confidence and self-control alongside technique, and the school also runs summer camps, day camps, monthly events and a Parents' Night Out. The head instructor holds a 5th degree in Shorin Ryu Karate and has studied Aikido, jiu-jitsu, Krav Maga, kung fu and kobudo.

The school offers a free first class and classes six days a week, with flexible scheduling for busy families and working adults. It is at the Village Market Place in Morrisville, and families from the Cary and Morrisville area have served it since 2009. Parents can ask about birthday parties, and the school sells its own gear.
