The story

Chris Bargas Golf Club at Whitney Farms is an 18-hole public course in Monroe, designed by Hal C. Purdy and opened in 1982 on land that was once a horse stable and dairy farm. Golfers can book tee times seven days a week, and the club also offers golf lessons with a PGA professional, a driving range, and year-round Trackman simulators in The Player's Club.

The clubhouse hosts weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and brunch buffets, and the stone barn facade from the original farm still stands at its entrance. Tee times can be booked online or through GolfNow. The Sand Trap Bar & Grill serves food and drinks, and men's club memberships are available for regular players.
