The story

Rookies Sports Tap is a sports bar in East Monmouth with about 40 beers on tap, including craft and domestic beers, ciders and root beer, and beer flights for those who can't decide. The menu covers lunch and dinner, a taco menu, a kids menu and daily specials. It also has Oregon Lottery Vegas-style poker machines.

Takeout is available, and food can be ordered for dine-in, takeout or DoorDash. Hours run from 11 AM most days, with a Sunday opening at 10 AM during football season. The bar is an official partner of the Western Oregon University Wolves, and its sister bar, Arena Sports Bar, offers pool tables and a 21+ atmosphere.
