Yardscapes

Yardscapes is a landscape design and installation firm that builds custom residential outdoor spaces. Its work includes natural stone and hardscape elements, plantings, water features, patios, retaining walls, lighting, custom pools, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits. The firm highlights pools and spas, outdoor kitchens, fire features, driveways and front entries among its project types.

Projects start with a consultation to talk through needs and wishes while respecting the surrounding natural environment and the architecture of new construction or remodels. Yardscapes serves Minneapolis, St. Paul and the wider Twin Cities metro area, and its office is in South Bloomington. David Kopfmann, who started the company in 1974, leads design alongside designers Clayton Johnson and Josh Rajdl.
