AVO Dog training and Obedience

AVO Dog Training and Obedience is run by Anna O'Sullivan, who has more than 24 years of hands-on experience in canine behavior and obedience. Her background includes obedience training at Petco, kennel supervision and facility management at a large doggy daycare. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and offers CGC and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy testing. Core work covers basic obedience such as heel, sit, stay, come and down, along with behavior consulting for issues like housebreaking, biting, excessive barking and jumping.

Lessons are held in the home or familiar surroundings, and behavior sessions can also take place at Anna's fenced yard or a local dog park or pet store. Plans are personalized, and clients should expect about 30 minutes of daily practice between lessons, since owners do most of the work. Anna is not offering board-and-train sessions at this time. The business is based on Farmington Road in Milton, New Hampshire.
