Acorns Resort

Acorns Resort is a waterfront resort in the Flint Hills whose restaurant, The Cove Bar & Grill, serves elk burgers, steaks and chili made from elk raised on the resort's own land. The menu is built around that elk, and the resort also sells elk cuts and sausages in its convenience store to take home.

The Cove takes no reservations and seats guests on a first-come, first-served basis, both resort guests and the public. Boats can dock at the on-the-water slips, and the restaurant is also reachable by car or on foot. Gift cards can be bought or looked up online. The restaurant is available for private rentals on Sundays through Wednesdays during the off season.
