Alan Barbosa Tattoos

Alan Barbosa Tattoos is the work of tattoo artist Alan Barbosa, who has been tattooing for more than ten years and specializes in black and grey realism. He is known for portraits, dark arts and horror themes, and he takes on full body suits as well as detailed single pieces. Custom designs start from a client's own idea, whether that is an animal, a film character, a musician or a portrait of a family member. He has appeared in multiple tattoo magazines.

Booking and questions go through the website, where the policies page explains how to get started. Alan works out of Valkyrie Studio, a downtown Milford tattoo studio opened in 2020 that puts community, client comfort and an inclusive atmosphere first. The designs page shows artwork he has available for anyone who wants ideas. Appointments are in the afternoons and evenings, Tuesday through Saturday.
