Simply Speech

Simply Speech is a pediatric speech therapy practice run by Stephanie Kelley, a speech-language pathologist who works mainly with children. Her work covers sound system disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, language delay, stuttering, voice, augmentative communication systems, and needs linked to autism. Sessions use evidence-based and play-based approaches, along with frameworks such as Social Thinking, the SCERTS Model, and Hanen's It Takes Two to Talk program for parents.

The practice is a teaching clinic, so visiting students from several universities may be present with the clinicians. Insurance is accepted from several carriers, including BCBS, Tricare, Aetna, and Neighborhood Healthcare, but some Medicaid plans are not. Appointments can be requested online or arranged by phone or text, and the office is on the second floor of Wyatt Square on East Main Road in Middletown, so families should mention if stairs are a problem.
