Eric's Specialty Cleaners

Eric's Specialty Cleaners is a family-owned dry cleaner and tailor that has served Metairie and the Greater New Orleans area since 1999. Its work covers business attire, formal wear, designer pieces, delicate fabrics and wedding gowns, with an on-site tailor who handles hemming, resizing and custom tailoring. Shirt laundry is pressed and hand-finished, with standard dry cleaning taking two to three business days and shirts usually ready in 24 to 48 hours.

The shop is in the Sena Mall on Veterans Memorial Boulevard, and customers can bring items in or schedule a free pickup and delivery, which the business says covers Metairie, Old Metairie, Uptown, Lakeview, Mid-City, English Turn, Terrytown and Belle Chasse. Pickups can be booked online or by phone, and the business also offers eco-friendly cleaning and household items such as comforters and curtains. Recurring pickup visits run one to two times a week, and one-time pickups are not offered.
