Boise Timbers | Thorns

Boise Timbers | Thorns is a youth soccer club founded in 1986 that runs recreational, competitive and elite programs for players from early childhood through high school age. Teams are grouped by age, and the club says it has guided players on to college and semi-professional soccer. It is an alliance club with the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns, and its coaching staff includes licensed and credentialed coaches.

Players try out for competitive teams, and the club also offers goalkeeper training, a college advisory program, summer and spring break camps, and tournaments. Recreational play includes a fall program for the youngest children. A scholarship program helps families who need support with fees. The club's 20-acre complex on East Lake Hazel Road in Meridian is privately owned and operated by the club.
