George’s Coffee at 121

George's Coffee at 121 is a coffee shop in Melissa that opened in 2021 with the idea that good coffee brings people together. The menu covers espresso drinks like lattes, chai, cold brew, and frozen coffee, and the seasonal flavors rotate through the year, with pumpkin cold brew showing up in the fall.

The room is bright and social, with a good mix of tables, and many people come in to work on laptops. There is also a meeting room, and paintings by local artists are sometimes for sale on the walls. Drinks can be ordered ahead through the shop's app, which also runs a rewards program. The shop is on Sam Rayburn Highway in Melissa.
