Crater Lake Surgery Center

Crater Lake Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center that handles same-day outpatient surgery and interventional pain management procedures. Patients who do not need an overnight stay are contacted by staff ahead of time to schedule their procedure and told what paperwork to bring. The center was established in 2018 to serve patients across Southern Oregon and Northern California, with an aim of lower costs than a hospital setting.

Procedures take place in surgery suites with current equipment, followed by a short stay in a post-op recovery area before going home with written care instructions. Patients cannot drive themselves home and need a designated driver. Patient financing is available through Advance Care, with interest-free periods of 6 to 12 months on some options. The center is located in Medford.
