Republic Fitness runs gyms in Davis Square in Somerville and in the Financial District of Boston. The floors carry cardio and strength equipment, including dumbbells, kettlebells, cables, and plate-loaded and pin-loaded machines, along with open turf space. Group classes run in the MOVE studio and HWX programs, and the Davis Square club has a STRENGTH studio with barbells, platforms, and TRX trainers. Personal training is a core part of the membership.
Both clubs have the Restore Spa, which offers infrared saunas, a cold plunge, whirlpool, steam, and spa showers for recovery after a workout. The Financial District club is the newer of the two. Republic Fitness is part of the Healthworks Group and has served the Boston community since 1977. Gift cards are available.
