Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity

Hanover and King William Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, responsible for Hanover and King William Counties. It builds homes with families who then pay an affordable mortgage, and it runs a critical repair program that addresses urgent problems around the home. The affiliate also operates a ReStore that sells donated furniture, building materials and household goods.

Homeownership and repair help is directed through the office on Stonewall Parkway in Mechanicsville, where Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are the main office days. The ReStore next door on Stonewall Parkway is open Monday through Saturday. Neighbors interested in volunteering or donating can use the website's contact form or call the office directly.
