Savage-McVicker Insurance is an independent insurance agency that writes personal coverage for individuals and families along with commercial insurance for a wide range of businesses. The agency also handles surety bonds and financial benefits and life insurance, and it is licensed in 27 states with access to more than 100 carriers.

The agency was founded in 1960 by James McVicker Sr. and is now third-generation family owned. Staff work without outside service centers and aim to build personal relationships so coverage can be tailored to each client. Office hours are weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, and the agency is at Keystone Drive in Maumee.
