Emerald Lake Golf Club

Emerald Lake Golf Club is a public golf course in Matthews, known for its well-kept greens and open to players who want 9 or 18 holes. The club's Lake View Tavern serves signature sandwiches, burgers, wings and seasonal entrees, and The View, a venue on the course, hosts weddings, golf outings and corporate events.

Tee times can be booked online, and players can choose a morning, afternoon or evening slot. The tavern serves lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday, with dinner from 4 pm, and calling before the turn is a good way to avoid a wait. Guests can also order from the tavern menu through the club's mobile app. The course has been part of the Charlotte-area golf scene for nineteen years.
