ECE Power

ECE Power is a 100% employee-owned engineering firm that designs and manages electric power systems for member-owned, municipal, and privately owned electric utilities. Its work covers substations up to 230 kV, overhead and underground transmission lines from 35 kV to 230 kV, and distribution systems at 12.47 kV and 25 kV. Licensed engineers, land surveyors, landscape architects, and real estate brokers on staff also handle protection and coordination, system planning, survey and field services, siting, and right-of-way acquisition.

ECE serves utilities across North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia, and has been in business since 1968. Its corporate headquarters is at 215 N Ames St in Matthews, with branch offices in Rock Hill, South Carolina and Garner, North Carolina. The firm mainly works with utilities and industrial or development clients rather than individual homeowners.
